Everyday Scents

Familiar scents, memories to rediscover and wonderful stories to share!

With Everyday Scents, invite residents to rediscover familiar fragrances and share the memories they bring back. A warm sensory activity that combines the pleasure of smelling, recognizing and storytelling.

The principle is simple: each participant discovers a scent, tries to identify it with the help of the colour picture cards and links it to an everyday object or use. On the back of the cards, open-ended questions invite further conversation and bring little anecdotes back to life.

This activity promotes:

• Olfactory and sensory stimulation
• Reminiscence and recalling memories
• Identifying and matching scents
• Verbal expression and communication
• Concentration and attention
• Social interaction and sharing experiences

Alone or in a group, Everyday Scents turns simple fragrances into opportunities to chat, smile and relive happy moments!
