Meet Mila, an adorable 48 cm (19 in) Reborn doll with touching realism! With her big open brown eyes, expressive face and soft body, Mila naturally invites residents to look at her, rock her and give her all their affection.

Created by Louise Vendette, a nurse experienced in geriatrics, Mila was designed to support older adults, especially those living with Alzheimer's disease or other cognitive impairments. Her vinyl head, soft fabric body and realistic 1.1 kg (2.5 lb) weight give her a pleasant, comforting presence when held in the arms.

Unlike sleeping babies, Mila's open eyes encourage more eye contact and interaction. Rocking her, talking to her, cuddling her or dressing her lets residents rediscover familiar gestures and revive precious memories of family and parenthood.
