Multi-Activity Manipulation Board

Familiar everyday gestures brought together in a stimulating hands-on activity!

Created by CDS Boutique and made of sturdy wood, this multi-activity board features eight elements inspired by daily life to handle and explore. A chain latch, padlock with key, electrical outlet with no electricity, faucet and different types of locks let residents rediscover familiar gestures in a fun, adapted context.

The multi-activity board encourages:

• Fine motor skills and dexterity
• Hand-eye coordination
• Manipulation and grasping
• Concentration and attention
• The use of familiar everyday gestures

With its non-infantilizing approach and varied mechanisms, this board offers a concrete, intuitive activity that invites residents to handle, explore and rediscover everyday gestures at their own pace.
